ORDER BY 15:00 FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY!!!

At The Home of DIY we aim to please our customers, that is why we only ask for a small £9.99 delivery charge on all orders. We carry a wide range of products that are available for next working day delivery, however, to guarantee this orders must be placed by 15:00.

Special Order Items
Some items especially doors are special order items only and are not available for next working day delivery. The lead time on these items can be 7-10 days. Please check availability with our customer services team before placing your order.

Items covered by the special order tag include; freestyle doors, certain door sizes, garden structures, log cabins, garage doors, Lakes kitchens, Balterley bathrooms and appliances and some other products.

In some cases where the destination is a non-mainland UK address, we may need to apply a delivery surcharge. The following postcodes will incur a surcharge. If you require any further information, please contact us.

Delivery Service
All in stock goods that are ordered before 15:00 can normally be delivered the next working day, between the times of 08:00 and 18:00.

Orders placed between 15:00 on a Friday and 09:00 on a Monday will normally be delivered on a Tuesday. However, if Monday is a bank holiday, delivery will be on Wednesday.

Once your order has been processed we will contact you by email or telephone to confirm the order and arrange a delivery date, unfortunately we cannot provide an exact time for delivery as this is at the carriers discretion.

Day of Delivery

It is assumed that the delivery address is accessible by large lorry, if this is likely to be a problem, please inform us at the time of ordering.

Unfortunately due to insurance guidelines carriers are only able to deliver items to ‘kerbside’ it is not the carriers responsibility to take the delivery into your home, it is therefore advisable to make sure that there is adequate help to unload the delivery into you home.

If the carrier is unable to make a delivery because you were not available, you will be charged again for re-delivery.

Upon delivery of your order, a signature will be required by the courier company. All goods must be signed for by a person over the age of 18.

Where possible, we recommend that you carry out as full of an inspection of the goods as is possible as once goods have been received by you and signed for in good condition, they are deemed to be accepted by you and therefore your responsibility. Any loss or damage to the goods caused after delivery will be your responsibility.

Back Orders
If one of our products is out of stock, the stock status on our website will state an estimated arrival date. You can still order the product in advance, and we will dispatch the goods immediately upon arrival.
