All our WoodDoor Plus Ramin Louvre doors are manufactured from the harder and lighter ramin hardwood. They all come with open louvres, this means the individual slats on the door have a 8mm (0.31inch) gap between them to allow airflow through the door.
Our ramin open louvre doors are supplied unfinished, ideal for painting, varnishing or staining and are available in a number of sizes, with measurements shown in mm and are height x width. All ramin louvre doors are 28mm in thickness.
Ramin hardwood by its nature is durable, but not as much as some other hardwoods. This is why we recommend that our ramin hardwood louvre doors are applied with a suitable weatherproofing treatment, if being used externally, giving better resistance to the elements.
